Absolutely incredible experience
A locally owned company, this was the best safari we have done! My family and I went to the Serengeti during rainy season and it didn’t prevent us from having a wonderful time. Shabani was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We didn’t think we would get to see the Great Migration given the rainy season so we didn’t do any research on it beforehand. When we got there, we realized that the Great Migration was still in the Serengeti so Shabani drove us 9 hours round trip so that we didn’t miss this opportunity. I’ve been other safaris before and no one has matched Shabani’s passion and respect for the animals and park, and dedication to his clients. Delicious packed lunches, raincoats, blankets, and drinks were always available. He even cleaned the jeep every day! Aside from this, Shabani is just an incredible human, sharing his passion and knowledge of the animals and telling us about Tanzanian culture; it felt like he was part of our family and we all laughed so much! Great Safari and Guide
Went on a 10 day Northern Circuit in Tanzania. Shabani who was our guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating of the clients. When we wanted to go back to camp mid-day while others wanted to stay out longer he arranged another jeep to take us back to camp.

Great crew, friendly and professional
We went on safari with Shabani and his team. He was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He was able to spot animals at a distance and brought us to them. Five Star Experience
Shabani is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and gave us information in real time about the reason behind the actions of the animals. Happily and thoroughly answered all our questions (no matter how many times we asked.) Very professional and knows how to give a five star experience- from positioning the trucks to get the best vantage point to providing drinks and snacks and lovely lunches during the safari day. Memory for life!
I strongly recommend Shabani and Olakira Afrika Safaris.Excellent service and knowledge about the animals and area. He is also a great driver and very friendly too! We experienced so much together. A memory for life and more than I expected!
